What is employment transition support?

This program helps people with chronic illnesses such as depression, or congenital or acquired disabilities to adapt to new jobs and environments and maximize their abilities. The program is led by experts and counselors and provides training tailored to the individual needs and strengths of people with disabilities.

By helping people with disabilities improve their skills that are useful for their actual work and adapt to a new work environment, we help them move forward with new careers with confidence. We also provide career support such as obtaining qualifications, writing resumes, and preparing for interviews.

Male in his 20s/Physical disability

How did you feel before you went?

He started attending our facility immediately after graduating from school, but he still had many inexperienced areas as a member of society and was unable to respond smoothly to phone calls. At first, he was often worried about whether there was work he could do, and was reluctant to do anything.

Has anything changed since you started attending?

With the careful guidance and advice she received from staff and other users, she was able to do more and seemed to feel a sense of fulfillment every day. She learned proper manners and speaking skills as a member of society, and was able to answer the phone clearly and without any problems, to the point where she was praised when she answered the phone from other facilities.
